We made these fun and easy St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes to help us celebrate the upcoming holiday. They really were easy which is just the type of dessert I was looking for. Because they were so easy, my kids loved making them. I’m pretty sure putting sprinkles on cupcakes is my children’s favorite thing to do, which makes cupcake decorating a little bit on the messy side. Besides finding little golden sprinkles on the kitchen floor for the next month, we loved these cute little cupcakes!
We just used our favorite white cake recipe and topped it with a green colored buttercream frosting (Here is my favorite Buttercream Frosting Recipe). To make the frosting look a little bit like grass, we used the Wilton tip #233. Then we put a little frosting on top of a Rolo and dipped it in golden sprinkles. Then we finished it off with rainbow sprinkles.
They turned out cute and delicious. They are a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!
