Last month, my husband graduated with his PhD, and we have all been so excited! We celebrated him passing his dissertation defense with this cheesecake and then my friend, whose husband is also graduating, and I threw our husbands a graduation party! We just can’t stop celebrating this huge accomplishment!
These s’mores pops were one of the treats that I made for the big graduation party! They were really tasty and super easy to make! My favorite combination!
Lately on Mondays I have been posting about an activity I have done with my kids or some kind of learning activity. This is not exactly the same, but my kids did help me make these, so that counts, right?!
Anyway, I decided not to put a stick in them for the party. I was making so many of them that I didn’t want to spend the money to buy sucker sticks, and I was worried about using toothpicks with so many kids around. So, they went without. I liked them without, but if you don’t have to make too many then use sticks. The preparation would have been a little bit less messy.
To make them all you need is marshmallows, crushed up graham crackers, and melted chocolate. I melted the chocolate in the microwave, dipped the marshmallow in the chocolate (about halfway up the marshmallow), and then dipped it in graham cracker crumbs. Then I placed them on a tray covered with wax paper until hardened.
I made so many and had so many leftover that I took the rest of them to church with me the next day and gave them to all the primary children. They thought I was pretty cool! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
