Kid’s Thank You Cards

Kid's Thank You Card + Free Printable at DoingSplendid.comI think that it is so important for kids to write thank you cards when they have been given something or someone does something kind for them. I think doing this helps teach my children to be grateful and thankful for the things that we have and the wonderful people in our life. We are not always perfect at sending thank you cards, but we try really hard!

We made these fun little cards for my son to send after his birthday. He really liked coloring the letters and making his own designs. Being able to color the thank you card makes everything a little more fun! We found a similar idea while browsing Pinterest, but it was store that wanted me to pay for the card. I knew that we could make something on our own for free! And I think it turned out pretty great! Now we can use these cards all the time and they will always be different, since each child can decorate their own.

We thought that you all might like to print these out too, so we made a little printable for you. Just click on the link below and send one to someone who deserves a big Thank You!

This is what they look like. They will print two cards to a page. We printed ours on card stock, but even regular paper is great. Just send thank you notes! That’s what really matters!

I love this idea! Thank you cards are big in our house as well and we try to be diligent in sending them. I try to get my 16 month old to get involved with writing them (and by writing, I mean just having her scribble into a card or two with a crayon). Your printable will definitely help, so thank you so much for sharing. Have a great evening, KaCee!
