Balsamic Pork Tenderloin

Balsamic Pork Tenderloin at This Balsamic Pork Tenderloin is so good! It is one of those dinners that look and taste so fancy that it seems like it took forever to make, but it really is simple and easy! It’s a great dinner if you want to impress your guests! But you don’t have to have guests around to make it. Your family will love it too! We always have leftovers and the meat is so good on a sandwich!

It cooks in the crock pot, so it really is simple. And that sauce on top…it is the best!

slightly adapted from here

  • 2 pork tenderloins
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Place the pork tenderloins inside. Sprinkle on the sage, salt, minced garlic, and black pepper. Rub the spices into the meat on all sides. Pour 1/2 cup water into the crock pot. Cover and cook on low in the crock pot for 6 hours.

When your six hours is almost up, stir together 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, and soy sauce in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, and then microwave for one more minute, stir. Pour half of this sauce on top of the pork tenderloin and cook for 2 more hours. When pork is finished, remove from the crock pot and pour the rest of the sauce on top and serve.

Our family loves this recipe and I think you’ll love it too!

This looks great. I bet it tastes even better. I have pork tenderloin in th freezer for the weekend and always looking for different ways to prepare it. I am going to try this recipe. I actually have a flavored balsamic vinegar – blueberry so I’m wondering how it will taste. Live and learn – Linking up from While I’m Waiting link up party.
