Oven Baked Fries

Oven Baked Fries at DoingSplendid.comWe absolutely love these oven baked fries! They are delicious and we try to eat them with as many meals as possible! We love them with the Chicken Salad Panini. We just had this particular dinner tonight and everyone asked if we could make a double batch, so everyone could stuff themselves with oven baked fries. 🙂

Oven Baked Fries

slightly adapted from here

  • 5-6 medium russet potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all the spices and olive oil together. Wash and cut up each potato into 8 pieces. Toss with spice mixture. Line baking sheet with slightly rumpled aluminum foil sprayed with cooking spray. Arrange potatoes on top in a single layer. Cook at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Do you want the fry sauce recipe that we always have with these fries! This is a recipe that my mom always made for us growing up whenever we had fish sticks for dinner. It is fabulous with these fries too!

Fry Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup

Mix together and serve with fries!

Oven Baked Fries at DoingSplendid.comThese fries really are so, so good! Try them, I know you’ll love them!

I love oven baked fries as well. So much better than fried and we all feel a little less guilty for consuming more than we can handle (they.are.so.good!) and that fry sauce is a a staple in our house as well. Thank you for sharing

Baked fries are the best! I do feel a lot better about eating lots of them when they are baked! They’re healthy, right?!

Love fries and now that I am gluten free I am finding that a lot of the fries you purchase to bake at home have gluten. That dog gone gluten hides in so many things. Your recipe sounds perfect! I am going to have to whip some of these up! Thanks so much for the recipe!

We usually alternate between white rice and roasted potatoes. I’ll admit that I’ve gotten into the habit of using the same seasonings on the potatoes every time so this is a nice alternative!

So glad you shared with #ShareTheWealthSunday!

Loves oven fries. That sauce is made in Puerto Rico to eat with anything. We call it mayo/ketchup. Lol
