Clover Hunt with Printable St. Patrick’s Day Coupons

St. Patrick's Day traditionEvery St. Patrick’s Day for the last 8 years or so, we have been having a clover hunt! Our kids wake up to clovers scattered all over our living room, with this letter on the floor… (Yes, it is the same letter we’ve used for the last 8 years! 🙂 Can you tell it’s a little worn? Maybe we need one from Beardy the Leprechaun!)letter from leprechaun

So, the kids collect the clovers! (And also yes, they are just clovers printed off of the computer. We are not very fancy people! 🙂 ) Not only are there 3 leafed clovers, but there are also some 4 leafed clovers. Not very many, only 1 per child and they are usually the ones that are hidden really well! Those 4 leafed clovers have a special prize or treat attached to them. Some years we’ve given candy, like Skittles or Starburst, you know, rainbow types of candy. Other years they’ve gotten bubbles or some type of small prize like that.

We gave our kids little coupon books for Valentine’s Day this year, and since those were so popular with the kids, we are giving them St. Patrick’s Day coupons as their prize for finding the 4 leafed clovers this year. I am so excited! I think they’ll love them!

I figured that other people might want to give their kids St. Patrick’s Day coupons too, so I made a printable. Just click on the link below to get yours!
