If you are looking for a fun and easy craft to do with kids for St. Patrick’s Day, this shamrock craft is it! All of our kids enjoyed working on this and now we have some cute decorations to hang up to celebrate the holiday!Materials Needed:
- clear contact paper
- small pieces of green paper
The first step is to cut out a piece of clear contact paper about the size that you want your shamrock to be. Peel off the paper and tape the contact paper sticky side up on a table.
Cut little pieces of green paper and then let those little kid fingers get to work! Our 2 year old worked on this part for quite awhile. He wanted to make sure that every little part was covered with green paper, I think. All of this made him very happy as you can see!
Then cut another piece of contact paper about the same size as the first, peel off the paper, and stick it on top of the other piece, sticky side down this time.
Then carefully peel it off of the table and let an adult or older child cut out the shape of a shamrock. You could trace of design or just wing it, like I did (you can tell, it’s far from perfect)! All finished! Isn’t it so cute and easy?!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
