8 Donuts - Doing Splendid

8 Donuts

8 Donuts at DoingSplendid.com We made these special 8 Donuts when my son turned 8 years old! I saw the idea just after my daughter turned 8 years old, so I just missed being able to use it then. I’ve been excited and waiting ever since for when I could make these for my son’s birthday!

We used them to decorate our table for the dinner after my son’s baptism. And they tasted good too. All the kids were happy to have many leftover mini donuts!

You can pretty much see how we made them. We just used a sucker stick, you can find them in the baking section of Joann or Walmart, stuck it through two mini donuts, wrapped them individually a plastic bag and tied them with a little ribbon. I took this picture before I wrapped them each in the plastic bag. I think they turned out pretty cute! They are a great treat for the kids to make too and a fun way to celebrate someone special turning 8 years old!
