No Bake Energy Bites - Doing Splendid

No Bake Energy Bites

No Bake Energy Bites at DoingSplendid.com Our family loves No Bake Energy Bites! This is the most requested snack by my 5 year old! Usually I gladly make them for him because I love them too! They are delicious and healthy! I’m pretty sure there isn’t a better combination! šŸ™‚

All my other kids really love these energy bites too, but since the older two are in school and we usually make them when they are away…they don’t usually get to have any! They are all gone by then! I think I may need to start making a double batch. Maybe then there will be enough to make it to the end of the day? Probably not! šŸ™‚

Now I’m sure you are dying for the recipe, right?!

No Bake Energy Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll into balls. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Believe me they will not last a week! The Energy Bites in our house last a day at the most before they are all eaten! šŸ™‚

  2. These look amazing! I’m going to make these and add brewers yeast to make them “lactation” energy bites while nursing. Once again, I’m featuring one of your posts on my FB page and blog this week. You always have such amazing recipes!

YUMM!! These look so delicious! And way easier than I would have thought. My son is a really picky eater, so I bet if I can get him to like these, I could sneak some other healthy things in them! Great idea šŸ™‚ Pinned. Thanks!

These sound yummy! I love anything with oatmeal- except traditional mushy oatmeal… I put luke warm water in mine so that it still crunchy! I will be trying these! I bet you could probably add whey to these to make protein balls too!

Hi Betty, Thank you so much for your comment. I’m working on a better way to print recipes from my blog, but for now you could just copy and paste the recipe into a Word document and print it that way. Hopefully in the future it will be much easier! Have a wonderful day!
