DIY Love Sign

DIY Love Sign at DoingSplendid.com

I think this wooden, DIY Love Sign is so cute! I made it for a friend’s bridal shower and now I need to make one for our own house!

I first saw the idea here, and while I absolutely love their sign, I currently don’t have those kind of tools or space, for that matter, to do that type of sign. So, I had to think a little more simply. At Joann, I found a wooden board and the wooden letters that fit just perfectly together and knew that I could make the love sign too, just a little bit differently!

Materials Needed:

  • Wooden board
  • Wooden letters
  • Gorilla glue (or another type of strong glue)
  • Black acrylic paint
  • White acrylic paint
  • Candle
  • Sandpaper
  • Finishing spray

DIY Love Sign at DoingSplendid.comGive it enough coats that you can’t see the black through the white paint any more.
