Peeps Easter Chocolates

Peeps Easter Chocolates at Doingsplendid.comWhile I was shopping at Joann the other day, I found this cute little candy mold! Of course, I couldn’t resist buying it, so I did! Sometimes I just have to buy cute stuff! I decided it would be super cute to make some little Peeps Easter chocolates to put in Easter baskets and such tomorrow! Have I used the word “cute” enough yet? I’m sure it will come up again! 🙂

Peeps Easter Chocolates at Doingsplendid.comI bought the blue, white, pink, and yellow candy melts in the baking aisle at Walmart. See the candy mold! It is cute, right?!

The outer ones turned out fabulous! We did use a spoon to spread the candy around and added sprinkles for fun. The directions say to put a marshmallow bunny Peep on at this point and I think I will try that sometime too.

Peeps Easter Chocolates at Doingsplendid.com I let them harden in the refrigerator for a little while and then easily popped them out and put them in a cute Easter bucket! I think they are so darling!
